About The Workshop: VPMEP has assisted hundreds of Virginia's industries in improving quality, minimizing manufacturing lead-time, and reducing costs through the implementation of Lean Enterprise techniques. High Impact Lean combines the traditional methodologies of Lean Enterprise with a particular emphasis on Constraints Management. Participants will be provided with a comprehensive presentation on Lean Enterprise, reinforced through a “hands-on” manufacturing simulation. In addition, participants will view and discuss a forty-five minute video presentation of Dr. Eli Goldratt's best selling book focusing on Constraints Management, The Goal. This program will vividly illustrate how the systematic analysis and improvement of the flow of materials and information in a manufacturing environment will increase productive capacity, customer satisfaction, employee involvement and bottom-line profitability. As participants apply Lean Enterprise principles and Constraints Management concepts to the simulated manufacturing operation, they will see how and why these methods work: knowledge that they can take with them and then apply to their own real world manufacturing issues. Who Should Attend? CEOs, presidents, vice presidents, general managers, plant managers, production planners, schedulers, engineers, engineering managers, and operations managers. Learn How To:
