Associates of GENEDGE ALLIANCE get $50 Registration Discount for the 28th Annual Virginia Forum for Excellence September 14-15 in Richmond

The United States Senate Productivity and Quality Award for Virginia (SPQA-VA) will host its 28th Annual Virginia Forum for Excellence at the Holiday Inn Select Koger Center in Richmond, VA (Midlothian) on September 14-15, 2010.

Since GENEDGE ALLIANCE (formerly VPMEP) is an alliance partner, SPQA-VA is offering associates of GENEDGE a deep discount of $50 off the public registration fee.

This year’s theme is “The Upside of the Downturn: Sharing Best Practices To Move Ahead.” Event keynote speakers include: John Fitzgerald, CEO, INOVA Fair Oaks Hospital (2006 Senate Medallion recipient); Larry Potterfield, President, Midway USA (2009 Baldrige recipient); and Virginia’s Lt. Governor William Bolling.

In addition to several Pre-Conference sessions, the event also features a selection of 12 one-hour workshops on a variety of topics related to the Malcolm Baldrige National Criteria for Performance Excellence which is administered by the United States Department of Commerce.

The Virginia Forum for Excellence is an opportunity for performance improvement professionals to learn, network, and celebrate the achievements of the organizations receiving an Award and those that participate in the Discovery Program.

The event begins with a Welcome Reception on September 14 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., which recognizes the Program’s volunteer examiners, sponsors and others.
