GENEDGE ALLIANCE ANNOUNCES REVAMPMENT OF THEIR WORLD-CLASS
LEAN SIX SIGMA CURRICULUM FOR 2012

Winchester, VA- Enrollees in the 2012 curriculum for Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Certifications are in for a pleasant surprise. They will be among the first wave of graduates to benefit from GENEDGE’s retooling of their existing and highly successful Lean Six Sigma Certification Program.

GENEDGE management gathered feedback from past participants/clients and adapted such 'Voice of the Customer' expressions in modifying the curriculum to address the needs of today's adult learner and to provide more effective practical applications.

GENEDGE's Bob Houlihan says, "Our clients asked for an update beyond basic statistical analysis into the world of actual change. We took the VOC many steps further in revamping it into something that could be adapted for the ‘soft’ process world that is growing at an accelerated rate. We're confident that the updated curriculum will provide a more practical, clear, and user friendly experience."

GENEDGE’s revised 2012 curriculum offers these important upgrades:

  • More Active Learning - A new, improved in-class class simulation to reflect real time CPI opportunities and offer a clearer picture of Lean Six Sigma tool set benefits.
  • Better Focus - Deeper "dives" into subjects our clients use on a day-to day basis:
    1. Project Management
    2. Change management
    3. Non-normal data analysis
    4. More hands-on in class exercises

  • More practical - Less emphasis on the academic understanding of statistical function and drills on basic tools and more emphasis on actual usage.
  • More current - Updated case studies that reflect new economic realities.
