Jerry Robertson is the associate vice president, executive director of the Old Dominion University Business Gateway (ODUBG), GENEDGE's partner in the Tidewater area. He brings to ODUBG a diverse background in engineering, manufacturing, research and development, and academia. Jerry comes to ODUBG from ODU's College of Engineering and Technology where he served as Resident Engineer for the college overseeing research support operations. He has collaborated with ODUBG since its inception and has worked on many of its projects over the years. He came to Old Dominion University in 1981 after 10 years in manufacturing. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is a Certified Manufacturing Engineer by the SME. Jerry is currently the vice-chairman of Norfolk's Economic Development Authority.
