Mike G. Levy is a Project Manager for GENEDGE. Since joining the GENEDGE team in 2007, Mike has helped launch and support the Growth Services division. Already he has helped several clients formulate their visions to open future pipelines to market by using a suite of proven research-based, applied marketing services designed to win new customers.
Mike's current focus supports the new product development and innovation aspects of Growth Services, ensuring that clients have access to a powerful set of outsourced market research, market planning, and marketing management tools that add value to their growth endeavors. Traditionally, these marketing competencies have been either lacking or unsustainable for small manufacturers and scientific firms; now, these businesses have access to strategic, project-driven marketing services that are both measurable and cost-effective in terms of resource planning.
Since joining GENEDGE he has completed Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training and certification and is currently enrolled in training to receive Innovation Black Belt certification. He has also completed several marketing services projects, including market segmentation analysis; financial benchmarking; idea generation using product-market matrix analysis; content analysis and re-brand positioning work; market planning; brand differentiation analysis; and several Voice of the Customer research projects in support of innovation deliveries. Organizations served thus far include flat glass coatings manufacturing; robotic automation, critical power management; Department of Defense; shipbuilding; furniture; automotive interior components; consumer products; wireless sensing devices; and fabricated steel structural outfitting.
Before joining GENEDGE, he served as a market research analyst with a privately-held healthcare management company. In that role, he managed data collection activities and built an internal database that accurately depicted industry attractiveness - as well as competitive landscape - of the hospital-based emergency care environment. Prior to that, he served as a senior research analyst and then vice president of research with Aim Technologies, a financial research firm that tracked and valued merger and acquisition activity in private industry. While there, Mike developed many innovative approaches for collecting competitive intelligence and due diligence, including real-time monitoring of SEC filings and fair disclosure wires. He also developed expert-level skills in private company research using both proprietary and publicly available business intelligence tools. Before that, Mike worked in both creative and director-level marketing positions for large non-profit organizations and corporations in Virginia.
Mike earned his M.S. degree in business and his B.A. in English, both from VCU.
